The Dean's Message

,, Engineering is a great profession. There is the fascination of watching  a figment of the  imagination emerge through the aid of science to a plan on paper. Then it moves to realization in stone or metal or energy. Then it  brings jobs and homes to men. Then it elevates  the standards of living and adds to the comforts of life. That is the engineer’s high privilege.’’

Herbert Clark Hoover (1874-1964), Engineer, President of the United States, 1929-1933

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, having a tradition of more than twenty years in high technical education is attended at present by more than 1200 students and more than 5000 alumni have benefited from a high class training.

Since performance in real economy is achieved only by valuable specialists and well-trained engineers in their activity, we offer our students a diverse education in the field of engineering that would satisfy the demand for specialists on a local, national or even international level.

Our faculty represents the perfect image of an institution that creates and forms generations with a high professional training, which offers young people who are eager for knowledge and education, a wide variety of university degrees, master  and doctorate degrees in their way to personal and social accomplishment.

Our faculty is a high-standard school in what the quality of training is concerned, and a vast research laboratory  in the field of engineering, representing an honourable visiting card for all those who have graduated from it, and all this justifies and legitimates our pride.

The diploma obtained at the end of studies can be seen as  an ,, entrance card’’ which the alumni can use to open the door of any company because the training and the knowledge that they have obtained grants them  high professional standards.

Our faculty, eager and ready to assume its obligations responsibly, receptive to everything that is new, awaits studious young people from everywhere to face its challenges. We look forward to having you as students at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from Oradea !
